The Christopher Farm & Gardens

The Christopher Farm and Gardens is a private residence that is not open to the public on a regular basis. You may request to visit the gardens on a scheduled group tour with a group you are a member of, such as a garden club or a local school. We select a couple days each summer season for guided tours that you may request to join. Click HERE for the group tour contact form.

Our 600-acre property includes farmlands, woodlands, and botanical gardens. We are located along the western shores of Lake Michigan in the scenic Pigeon river Valley of Mosel Township, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin.

We encourage you to explore our website to acquaint yourself with the various agricultural, horticultural and artistic aspects of the farm and gardens.

Asian Water Garden

The Asian Water Garden reveals itself to visitors like a hidden treasure. Beyond rock-backed berms lies a quiet, secluded space beneath shade trees. Bamboo, grasses, ground cover, and dense evergreens create lush layers of green. It is the perfect place for meditative relaxation and appreciation of beauty.

Are there any 2023 events at the Farm that will be open to the public?

We do offer several events in 2023 that are open to the public:

June 24, 2023 - June-A-Palooza

August 26, 2023 - Sheboygan Visual Artists' Plein Air Event

October 7 & 8, 2023 - Scarecrow Fest

 

The Farm & Garden Entrance is W580 Garton Road, Sheboygan, WI 53083.   

For a group using a bus, passenger drop-off will take place at the Orchard Parking Entrance on Garton Road.  Buses should not drive into the orchard area.  When a group is approved for a tour you will receive additional parking information. 

We allow and encourage our guests to take photographs while exploring our property. We love to see the gardens through the eyes of our new and returning visitors. Photography for commercial purposes is not allowed.

We do not host weddings or private parties. We appreciate your understanding.

The Christopher Farm & Gardens is a privately owned residence requiring advanced registration for tours.  Please visit our contact page to fill out a request form for a group-guided tour.  We are not open to the public and not staffed to allow daily visitors.
